Use of the Flutter library shared_preferences to store user settings using a simple key/value system. This library is a cross platform abstraction of the Android SharedPreference and iOS NSUserDefaults. It is an efficient way to persist users preferences without using the sqLIte database.

To test :

  • change theme and text size in settings menu
  • Close app and repoen app
  • verify that your settings are still set.

Looks good! Tested locally and my settings have persisted correctly between restarts.
