The tiny "chip" sound that the macOS app makes when a new message comes in is too easily drowned out by noise in the environment.
It's also so high-pitched that (when actually heard) it makes me uncomfortable, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Wire needs the ability to let the user choose an alternative sound - even just choosing from the built-in macOS system notification sounds (Boop, Breeze, Bubble, etc) would be a significant improvement.
