Omniverse Kit extensions

gaussian-splatting Images or video to 3D Gaussian splats plus a refined mesh. Full-scene and per-object capture. Emits a collision proxy aligned to the visual splat, so a reconstruction is usable in a PhysX scene without re-authoring it. FVDB, COLMAP, Kaolin.

heatmap_kit Real-time contact heatmaps, heat diffusion running as NVIDIA Warp GPU kernels. Scale-aware re-baking keeps the radius physical when a stage is authored in mm instead of m. Split out of gaussian-splatting into a standalone extension with an engine-agnostic backend and isolated UI.

agv_motion_kit Path authoring with record/playback for AGVs and forklifts. Rear-steer kinematics, virtual-commissioning-style replay. Follow controller is a progress P-controller; true lookahead is still deferred.

crane_rope_simulation Heavy-lift crane with deformable rope on PhysX 5 FEM. Ships a tuning extension plus a root-cause writeup on rope instability under load.

Simulation work

Factory twin automation. Pick-and-place built on Isaac Sim's manipulator framework (RMPflow, SurfaceGripper, 10-phase task state machine), with OmniGraph-driven conveyors. The stage is the team's; the automation layer on top is mine.

Regression gates. Headless SimulationApp + Replicator runs that are bit-for-bit reproducible, so a physics change that shifts contact results gets caught before merge rather than in a client scene.

Condition monitoring. GPU synthetic telemetry (RAPIDS cuDF/cuML, CuPy) to Parquet and MQTT, bridged onto the Isaac Sim carb message bus. The predictive-maintenance and Triton Inference Server parts are NVIDIA reference workflows I worked through, not things I shipped.

Stack

Isaac Sim 4.5/5.x, Omniverse Kit, OpenUSD, PhysX 5 (rigid, FEM, articulations, solver tuning), NVIDIA Warp, OmniGraph, RMPflow, Replicator, ROS 2 / rclpy RAPIDS, CuPy, Parquet, MQTT, Docker Python, C#, C++ Unity HDRP/URP, MRTK 3, Meta XR SDK, OpenXR, Quest 2/3, HoloLens 2 GStreamer, SRT/RTP, NVENC, Jetson

Before this

Bosch Global Software Technologies, XR intern, 2023-24. HoloLens 2 AR disassembly on MRTK + Azure Object Anchors, Quest factory-tour training, AR mobile catalogues.

Older repos here (ImmersivePiano, MR art gallery) are Unity side projects from that period, left up for history.

B.Eng. Embedded Systems and IoT, HCMUTE, 2020-24 (formerly HCM University of Technology and Education; renamed Dec 2025). NVIDIA OpenUSD learning path, 6 courses.
