What changed

  • describe the Worker-owned protected resource metadata and authorization-server discovery
  • clarify that hosted MCP requires an OAuth access token, not a sup_sk_... API key
  • document the Node.js 22 development prerequisite

Why

The README attributed OAuth metadata to an integration that is no longer used and did not clearly distinguish hosted OAuth credentials from local SumUp API keys. The contributor guide also omitted the runtime version required by the repository.

The existing resource and resourceMetadata toolkit options remain unchanged because the HTTP auth-boundary PR is not part of the next release.

Validation

  • npm run lint
  • npm run test — 11 tests passed
  • npm run build

The README attributed protected resource metadata to an unused integration and did not clearly distinguish OAuth access tokens from SumUp API keys. Contributor setup also omitted the required Node.js version.\n\nDescribe the worker-owned OAuth metadata and token requirements, and document the Node.js 22 development prerequisite.
