I helped found and worked full-time for 4 years on Assistiv Labs. We’re an accessibility company focused on filling gaps in both tooling and processes as we work to improve the usability of the web for people using assistive technologies. I say “we” even though I no longer work on it full-time because I’m still an owner, still on the Board of Directors, and still advise the company on occasion.
#PourOneOut for The Collab Lab. We had a good run! In our 5 years in operation, we helped nearly 300 developers in 25+ countries practice how professional software teams collaborate. Many of the people who participated in the program called the experience “life changing.” Our mentors made it happen. Our many sponsors made it possible. Stacie was the catalyst. I am so grateful to have had the experience.
