mysql: honor max-multi-update-row-size for batched updates (#6748) - #6800
The MySQL sink did not populate the approximate data size of converted UPDATE row changes. As a result, the batching logic treated every row as zero bytes, so positive max-multi-update-row-size values never triggered the fallback to single-row UPDATE statements for TiDB downstreams.
This change calculates each UPDATE’s approximate data size by summing the raw column sizes of both its previous and current row images, then stores the estimate in the SQL row change. The existing batching logic uses these estimates to generate one UPDATE statement per row when the average size is at or above the configured threshold.

Walkthrough
The MySQL sink adds normal, per-event, and cross-event DML generation. It merges row changes across events and selects batched or individual UPDATE statements using row counts and estimated payload sizes.
Adds safe and unsafe row merging by key, including fallback behavior and handling for invalid row combinations.
SQL batching and size limits pkg/sink/mysql/mysql_writer_dml_batch.go, pkg/sink/mysql/mysql_writer_dml_test.go
Adds transaction SQL generation with row-count and update-size limits. Tests verify when UPDATE changes produce a CASE WHEN statement or individual statements.
pingcap/ticdc#6792: Cherry-picks the same max-multi-update-row-size fix and estimates UPDATE row size from pre- and post-row values.
pingcap/ticdc#6748: Provides the source change for estimating UPDATE row size from pre- and post-row values.

Explanation
The title names the main change: the MySQL sink now honors max-multi-update-row-size for batched UPDATEs. The raw summary and PR description both confirm the change computes UPDATE row sizes so the threshold takes effect for TiDB downstreams. The title is short, specific, and matches the changeset.
Full details: Description check
Explanation
The description follows the repository template. It includes a problem statement, a linked issue (close #6747), a clear explanation of what changed and how it works, a checked test list (unit and integration), and a release note. The questions on performance and compatibility and on documentation are left blank. The description also says it is an automated cherry-pick, which is useful context. The blank template questions are non-critical, so the description is mostly complete.

A rabbit checks the rows at night, Old and new payloads weighed just right. The batches split when sizes grow, Then SQL takes the path they show. Soft paws approve the measured flow.
Add a mixed-size UPDATE case to the threshold test.
Every UPDATE in TestPrepareDMLsMaxMultiUpdateRowSize uses the same payload size. With identical sizes, a check that reads only the first UPDATE gives the same result as the check that uses the group total. The test cannot detect a first-row-only decision.
Add a case with a small UPDATE first and a large UPDATE second in one event. Choose sizes so the total is at or above MaxMultiUpdateRowSize times the row count. Expect one row-per-statement output. This case fails if the decision reads only the first UPDATE.
The current harness builds prePayload and payload once per subtest and reuses them for every row. Build the sizes per row so the new case can vary them within one event.
A large-first, small-second case is optional. Under the summed check it produces per-row output, and a first-row-only check also produces per-row output. It does not detect a first-row-only decision. It only checks that the result does not depend on row order.

Stop logging whole event slices in the panic paths.
zap.Any serializes []*DMLEvent and []RowChange by reflection. That output includes the exported RowKeys and RowKey bytes, which encode primary-key values. Under redact-log ON or MARKER, these panic logs bypass the redaction that the neighboring util.RedactAny calls apply. Log only the counts.
