Bumps QoolQit to v1.6.0 (pyproject.toml, qoolqit/__init__.py) and drops Python 3.10:

  • requires-python is now >=3.11. The classifiers, the test matrix and the Quick Run Guide follow.
  • Python 3.14 is added to the classifiers and the test matrix. Docs, lint and publish already ran on 3.14.
  • networkx>=3.5 (3.5 is the first release that needs Python 3.11). This removes the tolerance workaround for older networkx in test_spring_layout_positions.
  • Drops the PyPy classifier: torch only ships CPython wheels, so QoolQit can't be installed on PyPy.
  • Sets Development Status to 4 - Beta (was 3 - Alpha), to match a 1.x release that still makes breaking changes in minor versions.
  • Updates the ruff pre-commit hook to v0.17.4.

Breaking changes

Fixes

  • Job.results() no longer floods the provider's API with status requests. For remote jobs it now waits between requests, starting at 2 s and doubling up to 30 s. It logs each change of status at INFO level on the qoolqit.execution.job logger, which is silent unless logging is enabled (Back off and log when waiting for remote job results #562).

Internal

Also test on Python 3.14 and require networkx>=3.5, which lets the
spring layout test drop its older-networkx tolerance workaround.
QoolQit needs torch through pulser[torch], and torch only ships CPython
wheels, so QoolQit cannot be installed on PyPy.
