There are too many name lists which are wasteful of screen space in larger screens and require too much scrolling.
The table-based bar chart component is currently not a good fit for the extra information needed (rank delta, percentages, percentage points) and functionality (links).
Thoughts:
A name list component will present the following information:
On simple name lists: Rank, +/- rank delta | name | total | percentage
On percentage diff lists: Rank, +/- rank delta | name | total | percentage, +/- percentage points
On ratio diff lists: Rank, rank delta | name | percentage, +/-percentage points. Perhaps add [group, +/- percentage] for all groups.
Two columns on large screens, one in smaller.
Use columns instead of grid for a smooth reading order.
Adjust list sizes to shrink to even numbers.
Options for limiting screen space:
[BOTTOM LINE] Just go with a simple option and rethink later if needed.
Collapse all name lists by default and expand one at a time.
Pros: Simple, effective.
Cons:
Too bland as-is. Needs to show more. Perhaps show a line/two of names only.
Might require too much clicking.
Two columns on large screens, 5 items in small screens with a show more button.
