Adds examples/advanced/eve, an issue triage agent built with eve and mounted in a Nuxt app with the eve/nuxt module. It is the Nuxt counterpart of the Next.js eve example (vercel/next.js#100758): same agent, same UI, same behavior.

  • nuxt.config.ts: the eve/nuxt module serves the agent at /eve/v1/*, on the app's origin.
  • agent/tools/triage_issues.ts: a workflow tool. A decision model (openai/gpt-6-luna-decisions) gives every issue a category and a priority in one step and yields the rows; only issues below 70% confidence go to the reviewer subagent, one fresh session each, with a typed output schema.
  • agent/subagents/reviewer/: the reviewer subagent.
  • agent/lib/sample-issues.ts: six sample issues.
  • agent/channels/eve.ts: browser auth, vercelOidc(), localDev(), then none(), as in the Next.js example.
  • components/Triage.vue: the triage console, built with the auto-imported useEveAgent composable: a three-stage pipeline, a prompt card with Run triage, a numbered run log with Stop and Reset, and a grid of issue tiles with confidence bars. Plain CSS and Geist fonts (@nuxt/fonts), ported from the Next.js example.
  • .docs/4.advanced/eve.md and a README entry.

Things that differ from the other examples:

  • No live preview. The agent calls models through the Vercel AI Gateway, and on Vercel the eve runtime deploys as a separate service, which .scripts/build.mjs doesn't carry into the combined deployment. So the example has no build script, is left out of the deploy, and the docs page has no ::browser embed. It runs locally with AI_GATEWAY_API_KEY set: pnpm --filter eve dev.
  • Its own full-page UI instead of NuxtExample and the shared Nuxt UI layer, to match the Next.js example.
  • just-bash dev dependency. eve dev mounts its built-in self-modification extension, whose subagent needs the just-bash sandbox locally; otherwise eve installs it on first run and edits package.json and pnpm-workspace.yaml. Two pnpm overrides drop just-bash's optional zstd and xz codecs, which have native builds and pull an old ini. typescript is pinned to the root's version because just-bash brings TypeScript 5.9, which otherwise becomes Nuxt's peer here.
  • postinstall: nuxi prepare. eve reads .nuxt/tsconfig.json when nuxt dev starts it, so a fresh clone needs it generated first.
  • eve@0.84.1 in minimumReleaseAgeExclude. 0.84.1 includes the nuxt dev hydration fix (fix(eve): pre-bundle eve/vue for the Nuxt auto-import vercel/eve#5404) but is newer than pnpm's minimum release age. It can go once the release ages.

Tested locally: lint and vue-tsc pass, the page hydrates in nuxt dev, and the triage workflow runs end to end.

Walkthrough

The changes add a Nuxt example configured with the Eve module and an Eve agent. The agent includes a weather tool that returns a fixed sunny condition and temperature. The example adds a chat interface with message submission, error display, and chat reset. Documentation describes the example, its AI Gateway key requirement, and local development command.

Priority: Low

Estimated code review effort: 3 (Moderate) | ~20 minutes

Merge Risk: Low · up to c0d4c

The example can present simulated weather as live and continue consuming model tokens after a user starts a new chat. These are bounded issues that should be fixed or explicitly accepted before merging.

Explanation

The description correctly identifies the Eve Nuxt example, documentation, README entry, and .eve ignore rule. Some detailed claims describe triage files that are not present, but the description is still related to the changeset.

@danielroe Is this the kind of example we want in this repository? Maybe it would be a better fit for the templates?
