Currently, the TTF file and its EULA are provided at https://aka.ms/SegoeFluentIcons. Its EULA is very simple and is generally understood to prohibit any form of redistribution, even as part of third-party Windows software. However, the font's introduction page https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/apps/design/iconography/segoe-fluent-icons-font#how-do-i-get-this-font suggests that redistribution is permissible because Windows 10 does not come with it preinstalled , which contradicts the EULA. The EULA is too vague and restrictive, causing developers to hesitate to use the font in their own third-party Windows software and distribute it indirectly to users as part of their applications. Therefore, I request that the relevant team consult with legal counsel or the responsible person to update the EULA to clarify whether developers may package it with their Windows software.
