Recreate: Open the app, open the Order window, click the back button to close the window. Click the order button again and open a new Order window, when you click any of the function buttons, the foreground color changes, but not the background color, it remains grey with a red outline.
It may have something to do with using the hide function rather than dispose and instantiating a new window object.
