Yes, I use AI for development related purposes - the environment is moving quickly and fast, and one needs to adapt to survive. While AI may cause issues at times, Open Weight Models are a great way to learn about prompting and requirement formulation. Never blindly just trust AI, always make sure to treat it like a overly confident intern who may need to get taken down a notch or two. AI for PRs, issues or other text-written form? No. I take this as my side of the job to handle the "interfaces" to the AI, so any bug report, issue or merge request submitted by me is hand-written and checked personally, as the human input still has a certain value to a conversation. Else we will only have AI bots talking to AI bots about things AI bots found.
Feel free to reach out to me!
