I'm a bioinformatician at Statens Serum Institut, working around microbial public health WGS, Python automation, systems design, and sysadmin support.

I've been writing software for more than two decades. These days I mostly build and structure internal tools, data-processing workflows, dashboards, DevOps improvements, and compliance-aware systems for scientific and public-health teams.

Most of my current work is in private organization repositories. My public repos are a mix of older experiments, small tools, homelab projects, and yearly hackathon work where I try out new tech and see what can be built in a weekend.

I like being close to the code while still having a say in how things are shaped: what should be built, how it should fit together, and how people will actually use it.
