I am using Google Colab on the Free plan, and the notebook runtime is disconnecting extremely frequently — approximately once every minute.
This makes it very difficult to work on or test code because the runtime repeatedly terminates/disconnects, requiring me to reconnect and rerun the notebook. The issue occurs consistently rather than being an occasional disconnection.
I have also noticed a significant change compared to a few months ago. Previously, I could keep a Colab runtime running and work continuously for several hours without frequent interruptions. Recently, the runtime has started disconnecting every minute or so, making the Free Colab environment extremely difficult to use for development.
The issue does not appear to be related to my internet connection, as my network connection remains stable and other websites and services continue to work normally while the Colab runtime disconnects.
I expect the Colab runtime to remain connected and usable for a reasonable period of time, without repeatedly disconnecting every minute.
While I understand that the Free Colab plan has runtime limits and may disconnect after periods of inactivity or due to resource constraints, I would not expect the runtime to disconnect approximately every minute while I am actively working in the notebook.

Operating System
Windows
Colab Plan
Google Colab Free plan
Additional context
The issue has made it extremely difficult to develop and test code in Colab. Even simple coding sessions are interrupted repeatedly because the runtime disconnects approximately every minute.
This behavior is substantially different from my previous experience with Colab, where I was able to work continuously for several hours on the Free plan.
The problem appears to be specific to the Colab runtime rather than my network connection, since my internet connection remains stable during these disconnections.
