Big5 to GB2312 File Converter

A lightweight, efficient tool to recursively convert text files from Big5 (Traditional Chinese) encoding to GB2312 (Simplified Chinese) encoding. This repository provides both a high-performance C implementation and a flexible Python implementation to suit different environment needs.

Usage

C Version:

1. Compile the C code:

   gcc -o convert convert.c
   

2. Run the executable:

   ./convert <source_folder> <destination_folder>
