What did you do?

/* eslint css/prefer-logical-properties: "error" */

@page {
	margin-left: 1in;
}

What did you expect to happen?

No error. Paged Media only defines physical margins for @page.

What actually happened?

margin-left was reported: Expected logical property 'margin-inline-start' instead of 'margin-left'. Applying the suggestion gives a declaration that no-invalid-at-rules reports: Unknown descriptor 'margin-inline-start' found for at-rule '@page'.

What is the purpose of this pull request?

This PR makes prefer-logical-properties ignore declarations inside @page, including its margin boxes, so it no longer suggests logical properties or values there.

What changes did you make? (Give an overview)

Added visitors that track entering and leaving @page at-rules. The Declaration visitor now returns early for declarations inside one, as it already does for @supports conditions.

Walkthrough

The rule now skips declaration checks inside @page at-rules. Tests cover lowercase and uppercase page rules, a nested @top-left rule, and reporting of a declaration after an @page rule.

Changes: @page declaration checks

The rule tracks entry to and exit from @page and skips declaration checks while inside it. Tests cover declarations in page rules and a report with a suggestion for margin-left outside a page rule.

The change suppresses logical-property suggestions inside page rules while preserving reporting outside them. The remaining nested-page edge case predates this change and does not block merging.

Follow-up Comments

Minor follow-up Track nested `@page` depth before clearing the page flag.

204-204: Minor · Functional Correctness · Quick win

Track nested @page depth before clearing the page flag.

An inner @page clears insidePage on exit while the outer @page is still open. A declaration that follows the inner block in the outer block is then reported. A depth counter clears the state only when the outermost @page exits.

Review comment at @src/rules/prefer-logical-properties.js at line 204:
Update the `@page` tracking from the `insidePage` boolean to a depth counter:
increment on each `@page` entry and decrement on exit, then have `Declaration`
treat the declaration as inside a page while the depth is greater than zero.
Preserve the existing `SupportsDeclaration` check so declarations after a nested
`@page` remain ignored until the outermost page exits.
