JSON schema

We use JSON schema to describe the format of chapter JSON files. In future, we might introduce other JSON files with different format, but we will again use a schema to describe it.

While developing the schema, we stick with our principles & core ideas. Using of the schema provides not just the way of describing data, but a standardized way how to validate (partially) those data. Moreover, the growing support of JSON schema allows the use of standardized tools and libraries for easier implementations.

The JSON schema of chapter files is used in our Validator tool.
