Initial State

The Calendar Filtering demo is open, showing Week 6 of February 2020 in the week view. Several events are visible on the schedule including "Sales call" (Thursday Feb 6), "Make presentation", "Read spec.", "Customer visit", and "Sign documents" on later days. A left sidebar shows resource filters (Arcady, Dave, Gloria, Henrik, Linda, Maxim, Mike) and a mini calendar for February 2020.

Reproduction Steps

1. Double-click the "Sales call" event to open the editor (frames 0-3, ~1.5s)
   The user double-clicks on the "Sales call" event bar on Thursday Feb 6. The event editor dialog opens showing:

   • Name: "Sales call"
   • Calendar: Maxim
   • All day: unchecked
   • Start: 02/06/2020, 10:00 AM
   • End: 02/06/2020, 12:00 PM
   • Repeat: None

2. Click the Repeat dropdown to open it (frames 4-7, ~2s)
   The user moves the cursor down to the "Repeat" combo field (currently showing "None") and clicks to expand the dropdown. The dropdown opens showing the following options:

   • None
   • Daily
   • Weekly on Thursday
   • Monthly on 6th
   • Yearly on 6th of February
   • Monthly on the first Thursday
   • Yearly on the first Thursday of February

   Note: The options correctly reference "Thursday" (day of the week for Feb 6) and "6th" (date of month for Feb 6).

3. Select "Yearly on the first Thursday of February" (frames 8-9, ~1s)
   The user hovers over and clicks on "Yearly on the first Thursday of February" (the last option in the list). The dropdown closes and the Repeat field now shows "Yearly on the first Thursday of February". A descriptive label below the combo also confirms "Yearly on the first Thursday of February".

4. Open the Repeat dropdown again to verify options (frames 10-12, ~1.5s)
   The user clicks on the Repeat dropdown arrow again. The dropdown reopens showing the same set of options. "Yearly on the first Thursday of February" is highlighted as the currently selected option. The options still reference "Thursday" and "6th" -- all correct at this point since the date is still Feb 6.

5. Select "Monthly on 6th" from the dropdown (frames 12-13, ~1s)
   The user selects "Monthly on 6th" from the dropdown. The Repeat field now shows "Monthly on 6th" and the descriptive label below shows "Monthly on 6".

6. Click on the Start date field (frames 14-17, ~2s)
   The user clicks on the Start date field (showing 02/06/2020). The cursor is positioned in the date field.

7. Click the calendar picker icon to open the date picker (frames 18-19, ~1s)
   The user clicks the calendar icon next to the Start date field. A date picker popup appears showing February 2020 with the 6th highlighted (current date).

8. Change the date from Feb 6 to Feb 4 (frames 20-22, ~1.5s)
   The user clicks on the 4th in the date picker calendar. The date picker closes. The Start date field updates to "02/04/2020" and the End date also updates to "02/04/2020". The header above the schedule preview updates to show "Tue 04 Feb".

9. Observe the Repeat field -- BUG IS VISIBLE (frames 22-31, ~4.5s)
   After changing the date from Feb 6 (Thursday) to Feb 4 (Tuesday), the Repeat dropdown still shows "Monthly on 6th" in the combo field. The descriptive label below the combo shows "Monthly on 4" (correctly updated to the new date). However, the combo field text itself was NOT updated -- it should read "Monthly on 4th" instead of "Monthly on 6th".

   The user hovers over the Repeat field area and the descriptive label, highlighting the discrepancy: the combo text says "Monthly on 6th" but the description says "Monthly on 4".

Observed Result

After changing the event start date from February 6 to February 4:

• The Repeat combo field text still displays "Monthly on 6th" (stale value from the original date)
• The descriptive label below the combo correctly shows "Monthly on 4" (reflects the new date)
• This creates a confusing inconsistency where two parts of the same Repeat control show different date information

Expected Result

When the start date is changed from Feb 6 to Feb 4, the Repeat combo field text should update from "Monthly on 6th" to "Monthly on 4th" to match the new date. All repeat options that reference the date (day of week, day of month) should be recalculated based on the new start date. Both the combo display text and the descriptive label should be consistent and reflect the updated date.

Key Observations

• The descriptive label below the Repeat combo DOES update correctly when the date changes (shows "Monthly on 4")
• The combo field display text does NOT update (still shows "Monthly on 6th")
• This suggests the recurrence rule values are being recalculated correctly, but the combo's displayed text/options are not being refreshed
• The bug applies to any repeat option that references the date -- "Monthly on Nth", "Yearly on Nth of Month", "Weekly on DayName", etc. would all show stale text after a date change
• The dropdown option list itself likely also retains stale options (e.g., still showing "Weekly on Thursday" instead of "Weekly on Tuesday") though this was not explicitly verified in the video after the date change
