Welcome to PyTorch!
Currently, I am a 14 years old student and a programmer. I have the knowledge of Python, Godot (a game engine), and have done DSA (not completely, but a lot of it) with C.
So... I was just looking around to learn something new and got introduced with Neural Networks By 3Blue 1Brown's this video.
When I saw the video titile, I realized that I am learning a lot of things instead of focusing on a single one. If I really want a mastery,
then I have to give all my efforts on a single thing instead of learning everything. That's why I decided that
I will learn neural networks.
I learned the fundamentals and theory behind the working of neural networks from 3Blue 1Brown... But to study how to code a neural network, I went to youtube and got this video.
I am using an e-book for PyTorch (made by the video's author). And believe me... this e-book is amazing and far more better than the official
PyTorch documentation for learning as a beginner.
Initially (before getting introduced to the video), I went on the official documentation... I didn't understand even a single thing and they just made me to make a project on my first
appearance. Like you have no idea about how PyTorch works and you are building a project instead of teaching the basics... It's chaotic!
(I am not saying that the official documentation is bad... actually it's quite useful... But if you are a beginner and want to master PyTorch, then intending to learn everything from this documentation is a terrible decision!)
- All the files are contained inside the folder - Learning the Basics.
- All the files use the extension - .ipynb - i.e. I am using google colab(Actually I am writing on google colab from VS code).
- In the end of every file, there is a summary block (which contains the date when I wrote the file and additional information).
- There is an image folder inside the folder - Learning the Basics (which contains all the images I used in my files).
- The files in the folder - Learning the basics - are written after watching every lesson of the video (which I mentioned above).
- Sometimes, I needed to use the online google colab (instead of doing everything from VS code) for reasons like a free GPU (because I don't have one) for experimentation. So I just copied the output from online and pasted it in my file, mentioning that the results are from online colab.
I hope that my this journey can help me achieve what I really want.
