IP-Freely

This project is a simple program that pings every host on a given IP address.

Requirements

• python3

Installation

Download as a zip file or clone from github

• git clone https://github.com/WTCSC/ip-freely-DexterityB.git

(Unzip if neccessary) and open ip-freely-DexterityB in the terminal

• cd ip-freely-DexterityB

Run main.py, using python3, in the terminal

• python3 main.py

Intended flow of the program:

1. The program asks for an IP address in CIDR notation
2. The program calculates the IP range
3. The program pings each IP in the range

• Adding a more dynamic way to choose IPs to ping would most likely be useful
• Use push requests
