Part of feature 15 (quality gates), RaiderHQ/raider_saas#15. Releases 3.9.0. Requires raider_reporter 0.9.0, now on RubyGems.

What changes

  • Gate job. The generated GitHub Actions, GitHub Appium and Azure Pipelines templates get an opt-in gate job: raider-gate on GitHub, raider_gate on Azure. It runs only when the CI variable RAIDER_GATE is 1, needs every test job, and runs on pushes and PRs. It runs bundle exec raider-reporter gate with RAIDER_TOKEN, RAIDER_ENDPOINT and either GITHUB_TOKEN (with statuses: write) or SYSTEM_ACCESSTOKEN.
  • Comment job. It now also waits for the gate job, so the PR comment carries the final gate line. With the gate off, the gate job is skipped and the comment still runs.
  • Cross-platform Appium. The iOS and Android jobs set RAIDER_SHARD_INDEX 1/2 and RAIDER_SHARD_TOTAL: 2, so the server waits for both platforms before computing the build's verdict. Without them, the gate could freeze on the first platform alone.
  • Generated README. A "Quality gate" section, including the shard note for parallel jobs.
  • Gemfile and version. The Gemfile pins raider_reporter ~> 0.9. Version 3.9.0.

Tests

  • spec/integration + spec/system against the published 0.9.0: 1166 examples, 0 failures, 1 pending.
  • Reek is clean. RuboCop reports no new offenses; all existing ones predate this branch.

Both platform jobs upload to one build; without a shard total the gate
froze on whichever finished first. iOS/Android now set
RAIDER_SHARD_INDEX 1/2 and RAIDER_SHARD_TOTAL 2. The comment job also
needs the gate job (still always()), so it carries the final gate line.
README tells parallel jobs to set the shard env.
