Problem

When an agent runs a paths query through the PostHog MCP server, the UI app shows the result as a table of edges. A person has to read pairs of rows to work out where users went.

The other query visualizers in the app already draw on @posthog/quill-charts; paths was the one left as a table.
Third layer of a stack: #104591 adds SankeyChart, #104631 moves the web paths insight onto it.

Changes

The MCP paths visualizer draws a Sankey: one column per step, page URLs shortened to their path, node values on the labels, and a tooltip with users and average time on each ribbon.
Each node is pinned to the step in its result key, so a path that ends early or an edge whose earlier steps were cut from the result still sits under the right step header. The summary line reports transitions, steps, and users who start a path.
SankeyChart gains column on a node to pin it. The layout engine exposes it as nodeColumn and widens the graph to the highest pin.
SankeyChart drops a node label that would print over a larger neighbor's label in the same column. Thin stacked nodes no longer overprint; the tooltip still names them.
Mechanical: a MCP Apps/Paths story with three cases; docs for column, the label rule, and the Sankey test accessors.
The visualizer's view math moves into a pure buildPathsView, so a unit test reaches it without a render. The MCP vitest unit project resolves @posthog/quill-charts the way the UI app build does, because the shared paths transforms under products/ import it.
The MCP app has no flag. Every MCP paths result renders as the Sankey once this merges.

How did you test this code?

sankey-data.test.ts: a pinned node lands in its column and the column count grows to fit it, where depth alone would put it in the first column.
SankeyChart.test.tsx: two thin nodes stacked in one column render one label, the larger flow's.
paths-view.test.ts: the view keeps the 60 busiest transitions, counts steps on the full result, and caps the scroll width for a long path. Breaking the step count or the cap fails a case.
Rendered the new story headlessly and checked the step headers against the node keys after the pinning change. Dark mode was not rendered.
Not run: the MCP app build or an MCP client.

The rules for column (pin every node or none, pins run forward along the links, invalid pins throw) now sit in chart-types.md next to the existing column line. The doc comments on SankeyNodeInput.column, nodeColumn and pinStepsUpTo, and the MAX_DRAWN_STEPS comment, are now one line each.
