NetFocus is a lightweight, system-level Windows utility built to prioritize your games and starve background bandwidth.

Tired of Windows downloading updates in the background and ruining your ping mid-match? NetFocus safely pauses bandwidth-heavy Windows services and forces your CPU to give maximum priority to your active game, ensuring the smoothest and most responsive experience possible.

📥 Installation

You do not need to install any C# frameworks or programming tools to use this software. It is a completely self-contained application!

1. Go to the Releases tab on the right side of this page.
2. Download the latest NetFocus_Setup.exe file.
3. Run the installer.
4. Launch the app from your Desktop or Start Menu! (Note: The app will ask for Administrator privileges so it can safely manage your CPU and network rules).

🎮 How to Use

1. Select Your Game: Click the 📁 PC button for standalone games, or the 🚂 STEAM button for Steam games, and select your game's .exe file.
2. Configure: Choose if you want to preserve Steam background downloads or keep specific apps in your Whitelist.
3. Boost: Click START BOOST. The app will instantly minimize to your taskbar, optimize your Windows services, and wait for you to launch your game.
4. Restore: When you are done gaming, just click STOP BOOST (or close the app). NetFocus will safely restore all Windows services back to their normal, default state.
