A Warcraft III RoC-style chat client — in your pocket.

ElderKeep is a group-chat app with friends, clans, and a built-in game browser, styled after the classic Warcraft III Reign of Chaos / Battle.net look. This is the Android build — the same chat experience as the desktop app, on mobile.

Download & Install

ElderKeep for Android is distributed as an APK (it's not on the Play Store yet).

1. Open the Releases page and download app-release.apk.
2. Tap the downloaded file. Android will ask permission to install from unknown sources — allow it for your browser/file manager.
3. Open the app and sign in.

Upgrading from the old Elderwand app? The app ID changed (com.elderkeep.app), so ElderKeep installs alongside any old Elderwand build rather than over it. Uninstall the old one once you're set up.

Staying Up to Date

ElderKeep checks GitHub for newer versions on launch. When one is available, a banner appears at the top of the app — tap it to download and install the update.

Getting Started

1. Install and open ElderKeep.
2. New users connect to the public server automatically — no server address needed.
3. Create an account and save your one-time recovery codes (you'll need them if you forget your password).
4. Join a channel and add some friends.

• Friends list with favorites and live online/offline status
• See what game friends are playing on Steam
• Clans with ranks, message-of-the-day, invites, and chat history

🎮 Play Games

A built-in game browser:

• PC game servers — browse and filter via BattleMetrics + the Steam Web API
• Roblox — game and server browser with friends lookup
• Warcraft III — LAN lobby browser, including games hosted from chat via the w3bot

🔒 Accounts & Security

• One-time backup recovery codes and self-service password reset
• Profiles with icons, plus XP and level badges

🎨 Polish

• Themes, accent colors, and custom backgrounds
• Live in-app patch notes

Note: Voice chat and screen sharing are desktop-only features and are not available in the Android build.
