When a cache is created after the initial invalidation and drainPurchaseCache() starts dumping its pre-reset limit while the reset transaction holds the row lock, the final invalidation cannot prevent the stale write: it blocks on the cache monitor until dump() resumes after the reset commits, writes the old absolute limit, and removes the cache. Fresh evidence beyond the prior snapshot fix is that snapshotting the registry still cannot retract a dump that has already left the cache queue, so a user can remain at the old purchase limit after a reset; serialize cache dumps with the reset or make those writes epoch-aware.
