Request for API access: [Abdullah Chauhan] #3516

Description

@AbdullahChauhan

My name is Abdullah Chauhan, and I am a Flutter mobile application developer.
Email: acse.uok@gmail.com

  • Your purpose in using this API:
    I am building a Flutter mobile app focused specifically on Fitan (trials) and Ashrat as-Sa'ah (signs of the Hour) — covering minor signs, major signs, and general trials together — sourced from Quran verses and Sahih/Hasan-graded hadith only.
    I need a filtered pull of the dedicated Fitan/Ashrat as-Sa'ah books across: Sahih al-Bukhari (Book 92), Sahih Muslim (Book 54), Sunan Abi Dawud (Books 37–38), Jami' at-Tirmidhi (Book 33), Sunan Ibn Majah (Book 36), and Mishkat al-Masabih (Book 27). These already cover all three of our categories together; I handle the minor/major/fitan split ourselves after receiving the data.

    • I'm intentionally not requesting Sunan an-Nasa'i (no dedicated Fitan book in that collection) or Sunan ad-Daraqutni (compiled specifically to catalogue weak/fabricated narrations, which falls outside our Sahih/Hasan-only scope) — and I've left out collections on unrelated topics (manners, the Prophet's description, core creed, supplications, Qur'anic virtues) as out of scope.
    • If any of your other primary collections (Ibn Hibban, Ibn Khuzayma, Mustadrak al-Hakim, Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba, Musannaf Abd ar-Razzaq, As-Sunan al-Kubra, Muwatta Malik, Sunan ad-Darimi) have relevant Fitan content, I'd welcome it too, though I don't have confirmed book references for these, so any structure you can provide works. Musnad Ahmad is a separate case since it's organized by narrator rather than topic, so a book-number request doesn't apply there — if you have any way to surface Fitan-related content from it (topic tagging, keyword search, etc.), I'd be glad to have that as well, but understand if that's outside what the API supports.
  • API rate limits:

    • Maximum requests per second: 2
    • Maximum requests per day: 100
  • Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?
    Primarily an offline-dump use case — the app bundles a local, pre-vetted snapshot rather than querying the API live per user. I still need programmatic access to pull that initial filtered snapshot (and any occasional re-syncs for corrections), but not for runtime queries from end users.

  • What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?
    Arabic (source text), English, and Urdu are my primary requirement — the app ships in all three at launch. Urdu is confirmed available for Mishkat al-Masabih, so please include it there; for the other five books, include Urdu if you have it, otherwise I'll produce it myself. Any other languages you have for these books would help my future roadmap too, no rush. All content goes through my own review before use.

  • What programming language will your API client be in?
    Node.js (a build-time script to pull and process data — separate from the Flutter/Dart app itself, which only reads the bundled local dataset).
