WSL2 Dnsmasq on Windows 11

Opening a new discussion as the issue appears to be new and related to WSL on windows 11.
As previously mentioned in #220 (comment)

Probably some adjustments in .wslconfig or alternative DNS configuration needed to make .test top level domain work properly under win 11.

As a workaround those steps can be used:

• hardcoding IP for each domain in windows hosts
• using .localhost TLD can be used

I am closing this discussion. I found a workaround for this by using DNS over HTTPS in Windows 11.
I opened PR that improves warden with WSL: #926
I have been using this branch many months and it works just fine.

Additionally if you do not want to play with custom warden installation until that PR merged if merged at all because more testing and feedback needed.
You can just create a free account on NextDNS, set up your custom DOH address and form NextDNS config add record for TLD

.test 127.0.0.1

to loopback anything on .test to your machine.

Maybe similar things can be done on your router or VPN or other DNS service.
The only disadvantage of those workarounds - you need an internet connection
