is it possible to edit the file in the our own nvim, not vanilla one (without any LSP, highlights and other whistles)? |

If you run lazygit you can make
editlaunch a nested nvim (subprocess) in the same terminal session, then return to LazyGit when you quit nvim. If you like to have a terminal-first workflow, this is quite handy because you don't need another GUI application for editing the file and can stay within the same terminal session.In
~/.config/lazygit/config.yml:Only figured this out after quite a long time of using lazygit, so I thought maybe it's worth sharing and can help someone.

Currently this seems to be only supported for the
editkeybinding and not yet for theopenkeybinding because anopenInTerminalconfiguration option is missing, opened an issue at #5623 to hopefully support this as well.All reactions
