MicroAir743 V2 wont recognise external compass

The Microair743 V2 Flight controller has an onboard QMC5883L compass. Because of the electrical noise around the FC and the ESC, I would like to use an external compass. I bought an IST8310 compass but if I select it in the configurator, the magnetometer icon turns red and if I select Auto it always goes back to theQMC5883L. Does anyone have any Ideas how to solve this Problem? Thanks!

Probably need to use MICOAIR743V2_EXTMAG target rather than MICOAIR743V2.
