Which software version is used to compile iosender?

Sometimes the software exits automatically when the serial port connection is interrupted. I want to modify it so that it does not exit and allows manual reconnection. Which software should I use for compilation, and which version is recommended?

I use VS2015 since I have a license for it, I have also used VS2019 and I assume later versions can also be used provided that the required .NET framework (4.6.2) is installed
I use an older framework since I am still using Win7 based computers for my CNC machines, a later version framework may be used if Win10 or Win11 are the targets.
