Switching to GPU

How can i switch from cpu to gpu while using colab extension in vscode. is this not possible? or just i dont know it

There are a few differences between Colab on the web and in VS Code (described at a high level in the wiki here). The web client gives users the option to "switch" runtime types. Under the hood, that simply tears down the current runtime and creates a new one. You can switch in the same ways within VS Code by removing the Colab server (either with the Colab: Remove Server command or in the toolbar) and provision the new server (in your case, a GPU) using the normal flow in the kernel selector.
