Where are the maintainers?

In the redesign process of the Forklore page, we are considering having maintainers placed on the map of India as per their locations. Just adding a city to your github profile can work well from the maintainer's end. A prototype of what it might look like is attached above.

Seems like a cool idea, it can co-exist with the general forklore pages for now or until all maintainers are on the map.

The consideration is about whether the folks would be comfortable in sharing this information as such for the case made here.

I like the map design! However, I'd like to link to the related conversation here, where it was previously decided that maintainers' locations should not be added: #203

yeah i resonated with thoughts from fossunited/fossunited#529 actually.

Unlike my initial thoughts there, this time I think we are trying to highlight people here in various ways.

We are planning to redesign whole forklore approach to show Wall of people, projects... (maybe theme song.. etc)
So this becomes one thought for addition.
