Anyone familiar with Verify.Bunit?

Hi all,

I realise this is not specifically a Verify.Bunit discussion site, but my hope is to find someone that might be familiar with this testing library that @egil wrote to enable bunit and Verify to play together.

My Verify.Bunit based tests have started failing and I haven't a single clue (That I recognise as a clue) why...

If anyone has time to take a look at my StackOverflow Question, I would appreciate it.

Just as a sanity check, you could try to use MarkupMatches instead of Verify. There may some white space of similar which MarkupMatches takes care of.

I could, but my problem is that Verify is not producing the "received" file, so removing it from the code would negate the problem.

WinMerge - and that does open automatically on the first test run.

I've debugged and can see it gets to VerifyEngine.ThrowIfRequired() which does throw a VerifyException - but the results logged are that I have 2 equals - which should be "success" I think - yet the test is marked as a fail

absolutely yes. a single test can produce multiple output files. if we leave any file (matching the naming convention for the test), then those files get checked in and now become part of the expected output.
