TOOLS.md - PulseLab Infrastructure Notes

This file tracks the specific technical details of the PulseLab environment.

Infrastructure

API Bridge

  • URL: http://localhost:8321 (or 0.0.0.0:8321 for remote access)
  • WebSocket: ws://localhost:8321/ws
  • Config: config.yaml is the source of truth for ports and settings.

Docker Containers

  • Kali Network (mcp-kali-network): Used for Nmap, Nikto, Nuclei. Standardized for all network scans.
  • Kali RE (mcp-kali-reversing): Specialized for Ghidra/Frida.
  • Ollama: http://localhost:11435. Running qwen2.5-coder:7b.

Persistence

  • Inventory DB: inventory.sqlite (managed by core/inventory.py).
  • Audit Logs: logs/audit.jsonl.
  • LLM IO Logs: logs/llm_io/.

Working Patterns

  • Path Mapping: Use workspace:// for all tool inputs. It maps to the session's host root.
  • Output: Always redirect tool output to /workspace/output/ in containers.
  • Auto-Approval: Can be enabled via AUTO_APPROVE_CRITICAL=1 (use with caution).

Device Nicknames

  • Target-Gateway: 192.168.1.1 (Home router)
  • Local-Ollama: 192.168.1.129:11435

Add specific IP addresses, container IDs, or API keys here as needed.
