💓 HEARTBEAT.md - Proactive Security Checks

Add tasks here that should be checked every 30-60 minutes during a mission.

Status Checks

  • Bridge Health: Verify http://localhost:8321 is responding.
  • Docker Status: Check if mcp-kali-network is still healthy.
  • Job Monitor: List active jobs (job_list) to see if any long-running scans (Nikto/Nuclei) have finished.

Progress Monitoring

  • Scan Results: Check /workspace/output/ for new .json results from automated tools.
  • Inventory Sync: Verify if new hosts/services were discovered but not yet added to a finding.
  • Approvals: Check approval_list for any pending items that were missed in the chat flow.

Proactive Work

  • SCM Audit: Review logs/audit.jsonl for any validation errors.
  • Context Refresh: Read the last 5 findings in finding_list to maintain situational awareness.

Keep this list short and focused on high-value monitoring.
