  • These pages aim to design and implement a series of interactive, accessible web-based modules that strengthen students’ conceptual understanding of foundational mathematical ideas through explicit connections to physical phenomena. The project responds to a persistent challenge observed across STEM disciplines at SCU: students often demonstrate procedural competence in Mathematics while lacking the ability to transfer their mathematical knowledge across courses, particularly when mathematical ideas are applied in physical contexts.Two of the main goals of this project are to:

1. Enhance students’ conceptual understanding of mathematics through physically motivated examples and problems
2. Develop accessible instructional materials that support diverse learners, including those using screen readers or tactile graphics

In addition I noticed that you structured the project as an article, it needs to be a book. Easy translation of a few tags: article -> book, section -> chapter, subsection -> section.

I think all the rest is covered in the section I linked you to above.

You should now see the book in our library. It is not yet available for courses. If you let me know your runestone username, I'll make you an author so you can have access to the author interface. On that page you can rebuild, deploy, and make your book available to others for courses.

Note: you should not use math13 directly for your course. You should create a new course based on math13. The math13 course is open and available for anyone to browse and read.

The only thing I can think of is that the username is case sensitive: Mahmadiscu.

1. I still have the issue that when I’m trying to log into the author interface it redirects me to https://landing.runestone.academy/. Any ideas?

2. Sometimes I’m logged in runstone already but I get the following error when I navigate to the author interface:

In both cases, this is the link I’m using: https://author.runestone.academy/author

What makes you think that? It takes effect immediately, and I have confirmed that your username Mahmadiscu has author permissions and is an author of the book math13.
