As a modeller, I want to be able to build my network from scratch, like adding producers, consumers, storage, and connections between them. Then assign data to those assets, like the production capacity of the producer, the demand of the consumer, the minimum storage level of the storage, etc. The data could come from a file (if that data is in the right format), or hand-typed, or copy-pasted (assuming from Excel).
I want to be able to do this through menus and tables, similar to modelling in Plexos.
I also want to be able to do this through a map: dragging a new producer icon onto the map, then editing its features in a side menu.
I could also switch between views (or see both at once), the menu/data view and the map view.
