Installer does not install working WebView

to be more clear:

AppData\Local\OpenFusionLauncher is empty when made and nothing is added into it, deleting and trying again causes the same result.

app will attempt to launch, fail, and stay open in the background and appear in details under task manager doing nothing.

tried both the installer and portable and both had this result.

os is windows 10.

This sounds like a webview problem but I would have expected the installer to prepare everything correctly. I don't have a win 10 machine to test on but I'll try to get one to investigate.

No luck reproing on 3 different Windows 10 systems. I actually don't think it has anything to do with Win10 as we got another report of this issue on a Win11 system.
Would you mind updating your graphics drivers and giving it another shot?

Funny thing about that, my 6700xt drivers are up to-date. I always make sure they are.

Said the issue was with webveiw right?
Maybe when I was debloating my windows 10 enterprise LTSC I uninstalled webveiw without knowing.

So any way I can reinstall webveiw just to see if that's the case here?

Okay, I have the same card and my drivers are also up to date, so we can rule that out.

Again, the installer should have taken care of installing Webview2 if it wasn't there, but you can try getting it yourself from here.

gonna do the same for my labtop as i need it to use lenovo vantage.
(was using it to use converation mode on my battery but its been removed as 6 months ago it went bad. but eh figured i migth as well check some settings.)
gonna go play fusion fall now till i almost pass out as i cannot sleep tonight lol

one last question tho, what are some of the launch commands?
as i love to fiddle with launch commands on stuff.
especally my steam games lol
