SSL Issue?

I'm not sure if this is related to bitballoon / deploy or an issue with my system.

I am using homebrew and installed openssl (openssl version -a -> OpenSSL 1.0.2g 1 Mar 2016)

When I try to deploy from the command line on my Mac I get this error:

/Users/rylanbowers/.rvm/rubies/ruby-2.1.5/lib/ruby/2.1.0/net/http.rb:920:in `connect': SSL_connect returned=1 errno=0 state=SSLv3 read server certificate B: certificate verify failed (Faraday::SSLError)

Any input on that issue or pointers?

The above-referenced patch didn't fix this issue for me. I had to manually add the contents of this gist: https://gist.github.com/ttringas/4612060 into the top of the bin/bitballoon script.

@jaredcwhite I'm not sure I'm following what you did in the gems/bitballoon-0.2.6/lib directory (did you get the cacert.pem? and then in the gems/bitballoon-0.2.6/bin/bitballoon file you referenced you just copied the contents of that gist above or below these lines:
require 'slop'
require 'bitballoon'
require 'highline/import'
?
